Yaesu DR-2

The Yaesu DR-2 repeater operates on the basis of the System Fusion. The Yaesu DR-2 repeater operates in FM / C4FM mode by recognizing them thanks to AMS function. The signal in C4FM obtains high sound quality ensuring stable connectivity. Thanks to the support of traditional FM modulation, it provides further connectivity for traditional transceivers that do not support digital modulation. Marking DR-2XE repeaters means the European and Australian markets and DR-2X means American and Chinese.

Yaesu DR-2 includes support for these new important features:
- IMRS - allows multiple DR-2 repeaters connect to over the Internet.
- Digital Group ID - a way of separating users into up to 99 talk groups.
- Digital Personal ID, which is a selective calling system to allows a user to call another user based on their call sign.

The Yaesu DR-2 repeater can be used on 2m (144-146MHz) and 70cm (430-440MHz) with two receivers simultaneously, also as crossband repeater.

The Yaesu DR-2 requires 13.8V, max. 15A for operation. The repeater has an internal loudspeaker for local checking, also a microphone can be plugged in for testing the transmitter.
